Rex's Birthday Gift........Love my family!!

So for Rexy's birthday my mom suprised him, and took us to go PARAGLIDING.....

We attempted to take flight twice on Saturday!! We woke up Saturday morning @ 6:30 A.M. cuz we had to be at the gathering place at 7:45 A.M. When we arrived at the place the instructors informed us we had a good hour to wait for the fog to clear up. So once 9 rolled around the took us up the moutain to one of their launching spots. As you can see the fog was not letting up anytime soon :( Once it started clearing up the winds were "not suitable for flight"........so we drove up to another location.....Rex and I were one of the last tandems to prep, everyone else got to take flight. BAD NEWS: our intructors informed us that the winds were not in our favor.......long story short Rex and I waited 4.3 hours and weren't able to fly!! We were really disappointed....but decided to reschedule for Sunday A.M.

So once we took the tram to the top, we came to this spot where we were loaded into our diaper harnesses and were instructed to "keep running.........off the cliff!!"

This is the view at the very top of the mountain we jumped up of!! It was gorgeous and a beautiful day!! We couldn't have asked for better weather....

My view was amazing, my instructor told me to get my shoe in there so everyone would know I was in the air :) It was the perfect end to our trip.....after we landed my mom suprised all of us for a relaxing day at the spa........let's just say Rexy got spoiled by his in-law and nana-law :) Love you Babe!!
